I have it on my desk at work running 24/7 for about a year now. This little guy pushes around a surprising amount of air -- easily besting Duracraft and Honeywell models that are larger. Nice little touch is the small cup area on the base -- perfect for little things in the cubical world (paper clips, etc) or bedside (ear plugs, nail clippers, etc). This fan works really well to cool down my notebook computer and external hard drive (I use speed 1, never use speed 2). About the noise, I put it right next to my laptop, so I know it is running but it does not bother me at ALL. I also like the design of the fan. The motor is cover with smooth hard pastic unlike those cheap pastic. Overall, I really recommend this fan to everyone. Rating: Noise- 1 out of 10 (low noise) Design- 9 out of 10 (excellent design, not the best) Cooling- 8 of 10 (cool enough on speed 1) |
